RCR seeking financial help for three special cats

Regina Cat Rescue (RCR) is asking the public for financial help to pay for veterinary care for three special cats.

Six-month-old Button has had a tough life so far. She had been living under a deck trying to survive the winter before an RCR volunteer found her. After her rescue, it was discovered that her left eye was severely injured. In consultation with a vet, it was determined that Button’s injured eye needs to be removed to allow her a chance at a normal, healthy life.

Button is a sweetheart - and a trooper - who needs your help to pay for her surgery.

Nyssa came into RCR care when she was found abandoned as a young kitten. Now four months old, we thought Nyssa would soon be ready for adoption, but then it was discovered that she is suffering from painful ulcers in her eyes. She is currently undergoing special treatment to treat the ulcers so she can get back on the road to a forever home.

Nyssa was once living a pain-free life without eye ulcers. Help us get her healthy again!

Like Nyssa and Button, Fluffy was abandoned when he was no longer wanted. He spent two years living on the streets before he made it into foster care. Now, Fluffy doesn’t have to worry about spending another freezing cold night outdoors but he does need dental surgery so he can eat and live pain free.

Fluffy has experienced enough hardship. Help him live in comfort and good health by donating for his dental surgery.

We need to raise $1,500 to pay for Button’s enucleation, Nyssa’s eye ulcer treatments and Fluffy’s dental surgery. Please help these three wonderful animals by making a donation today. Make your donation by PayPal, E-transfer or by mailing a cheque. Tax receipts are issued for donations of $25 or more.

Regina Cat Rescue’s biggest expense is veterinary care. We hold numerous fundraising activities each year to cover these expenses but in times of extra demand – like now – we reach out to the community and hope that our supporters and animal lovers will give generously.

Any funds raised beyond the $1,500 for Button, Nyssa and Fluffy will be used to help other abandoned cats and kittens requiring veterinary care.
