Six ways to help cats in need this Christmas

The holiday season is upon us and Regina Cat Rescue (RCR) needs your help to keep rescued cats and kittens in comfort and joy! Here’s a list of the top six ways to include RCR in your holiday season:

  1. Sponsor a spay or neuter as a gift to a loved one. Sponsor a full sterilization for $100 or partial sponsorship for $75, $50 or $25. Complete the form, e-transfer the funds and we’ll email you a customized PDF card for you to print or email to your gift recipient!

  2. Foster a rescued cat this holiday season. Some RCR foster parents travel for the holidays and cat boarding facilities are all booked up, so extra short-term foster care providers are needed. If you’ve got a spare room and a little extra love to share over the holidays, email us to learn more.

  3. Buy a 2019 RCR calendar. Keep rescued and community cats in your life every day with RCR’s 2019 calendar — and feel good about it too as all proceeds help us care for rescued and community cats. Calendars available at 10 locations around Regina.

  4. Make a financial donation to Regina Cat Rescue. Donating funds by cash, cheque, e-transfer or Paypal can help RCR cover veterinary care, supplies like vaccines, deworming treatment, cat food, litter, litter boxes and more. Plus all donations over $10 receive a tax receipt.

  5. Host a work place food drive or fundraising event. Be a champion for RCR in your work place by organizing a cat food drive, a bake sale, raffle or other event to raise funds, food or other supplies.

  6. Donate items from our wish list. It wouldn’t be Christmas without a wish list — and here’s ours! Items can be dropped off at 167 Bothwell Cres in Regina.
