Background

Garner is a Regina Cat Recue (RCR) favourite due to his bumpy road to rescue! This handsome boy was a tame cat who was trapped and neutered then reluctantly returned to a community cat colony due to lack of foster space. Since then, poor Garner has had some close calls including being found cold and scared at the scene of a fire near his colony one year ago. Recently, a kind citizen took in a cold and hungry cat, and contacted us for help. When it turned out to be Garner, we knew we had to get him off the street once and for all.

Garner is a big gentle fellow who is grateful to be safe, warm and loved. He adapted very well to his foster home and was a perfect gentleman to his foster sister. Garner has weathered the streets and has now proven that he is worthy of a loving home that will take care of him for the rest of his days. He would be fine as an only cat but can also get along with others.

Background

Indy is a handsome young cat who came to Regina Cat Rescue off the streets and in need of some TLC.  This sweet boy quickly proved that he was a sweetheart suited to a home rather than a community cat colony, and he was placed into foster care.

Indy is one terrific tabby who is affectionate and easy-going, and he makes friends with all he meets. He settled in well to his multi-pet foster home with dogs and other cats, and is excellent with the kids in the home. Indy is handsome, well rounded and affectionate - what's not to love. He'd be fine with other pets or on his own.

Vitals

Gender: Male
Age: 4 years
Breed: Domestic Short Hair; Grey tabby
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Vaccinations: FRPP
Other vet care: Anti-parasitic medicine
Temperament: Gentle and affectionate
Other information: Good with other cats. Tested negative for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Meet Boris at PetSmart South (4835 Gordon Road).

Please include either the cat's name or the url for this page so that we appropriately direct your kind donation.

Background

Boris was discovered beaten up and frozen at one of Regina Cat Rescue's community cat feeding stations on one of the coldest days of the year. He was suffering wounds from a suspected cat fight, but thankfully proved to be a healthy and robust fellow who recovered quickly once provided with some TLC in a foster home.

Boris is definitely a lover not a fighter. This gentle giant is all about love. He enjoys pets and cuddles and a bit of soft food goes a long way to getting on his good side. Prior to PetSmart, he was fostered in a multiple cat home and got along well with the other cats in the home. Boris would be a good first pet for someone seeking a friendly cat companion, or a good friend to a lonely feline seeking a buddy.
