Background

Clark and his siblings were born to a stray mother cat who gave birth and was raising her kittens outside when they were spotted by a Regina Cat Rescue volunteer who quickly set out to scoop the little kittens and get them to the safety of a foster home.

Clark is a handsome little guy who likes to play and his very content to snuggle in laps once he warms up to people and feels comfortable. He is the shyest of his siblings and would do best in a home with a feline friend to help him build confidence. Clark will require some patience on the part of his adopter, but that person(s) will be rewarded with a very sweet and loving cat once he warms up.

Florence is a pretty young lady who was discovered abandoned at a rental property with only a bit of dry cereal for sustenance when a new tenant was moving into the suite. The tenant contacted Regina Cat Rescue for help in getting Florence a forever home.

Florence is friendly, outgoing and enjoys attention. She lets you know when she wants affection with good-natured chattering and is always happy to receive pets and cuddles. Like most young cats, she is curious and playful and will make a great cat for a first time adopter or someone looking to add a fun furry friend to their family.

Vitals

Gender: Male
Age: 1 year
Breed: Domestic Short Hair; Black
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Vaccinations: FRPP
Other vet care: Anti-parasitic medicine
Temperament: Gentle and affectionate
Other information: Fostered with other cats. Had fractured pelvis upon rescue.

Please include either the cat's name or the url for this page so that we appropriately direct your kind donation.

Background

Olivander was rescued by a Regina Cat Rescue volunteer when she ran out into her backyard in the middle of the night to break up a cat fight, and found a young male cat who appeared to have gotten the worst of it. When he was taken to the vet, it was discovered that the battle wounds were minor, but the poor cat was already suffering from a fractured pelvis, which was causing him pain.

Luckily, Olivander was already healing well and the fracture was not affecting his ability to bear weight on his limbs, so he was given pain medication and sent to a foster home where he recovered nicely. Olivander is a friendly and affectionate young fellow who likes attention and affection. His movement had to be limited while he was healing, but he made the best of it and enjoyed looking out the window. As his healing progresses, he is gradually becoming more active and playful and is ready for a home of his own. Olivander definitely needs to be an indoor cat so that he is not a risk for further injury.
