Background

Desdemona came to RCR in a very unusual way.  While working at a local pet store, an employee found Desdemona thrust into their arms after someone came into the store to “get rid of the cat.”  The employee didn’t have time to even explain that they didn’t accept surrenders before the person was gone from the store.  Naturally the store had no place to keep the cat and RCR was contacted and asked for help.

When she was first placed in foster care, Desdemona was in a home with many other foster cats as well as a large dog.  Though she wasn’t fond of the cats, Desdemona made fast friends with the large dog and would often walk up to him and rub against him.  Desdemona’s currently foster home has no other pets and she is loving having her foster mom’s complete attention.

Desdemona is a very affectionate girl and loves to snuggle with her foster mom giving head butts and check rubs whenever she gets the chance.  This beautiful girl would be the perfect feline companion for a family who has a resident dog.

Please note; in the event there are multiple inquiries for a cat or kitten, Regina Cat Rescue will select the best suited home in the interest of a successful adoption.
