Background

This past summer saw a lot of severe storms and flash flooding which left a lot of people and animals displaced. Melisandre is one of the cats that found herself having to find a new place to live when the area she was from flooded. RCR was contacted and a foster spot was found for this beauty.

Melisandre was very shy when she first arrived in RCR care, but with patient and caring foster parents, she has come out of her shell. Mel is now a confident kitty who loves to greet visitors at the front door and spend time snuggled with her foster parents.

Melisandre is being fostered with a resident cat and 2 dogs who she has adjusted to very well. This beautiful girl will make someone a wonderful companion.
