This past summer, rescue groups all over the province and into Manitoba were overwhelmed with intake of cats and dogs who were displaced due to the severe flooding, Hunter was one of these cats.  When the rescue group who originally took in Hunter and his brother couldn’t find a foster spot for the boys, they reached out to RCR who were happy to help given the unique circumstances.

Hunter is a playful guy who will pounce on anything that moves or makes noise, and this includes the other foster cats in the house.  It is not unusual to see Hunter come running out from a hiding spot to pounce on one of the other foster cats in order to get them to play a game of chase.  Feather toys, balls with bells, these are all toys that Hunter loves to bat or drag around her foster home.  When all his energy is spent and he is ready for some down time, his foster mom’s lap is where he wants to be.  Snuggling close for some pets and cuddles is something Hunter enjoys, and during the night time you will find him curled up beside his foster mom in bed.
