Newman is from a group of kittens RCR took from an overwhelmed rescue group in Virden Manitoba.  Though it’s not common for RCR to take cats from outside Regina, the severe flooding of late June and early July left the small Manitoba based rescue group with so many stray, displaced cats and kittens that they didn’t have anywhere safe to place them.  RCR stepped up and found foster placements for some of the cats and kittens to help not only the rescue group, but the cats and kittens.

Newman is a sweet petite fellow who may be small in stature, but has a big heart.  He loves to wrestle and play with his brother who is being fostered with him as well as the other cats and dogs in his foster home.  When he’s not playing his the other animals, or the objects he’s turned into toys, he is snuggled up with his foster mom for some snuggles and pets.  Newman purrs the minute he is spoken too and will purr for however long his foster mom holds and pets him for.

If you are interested in Newman, click here to view our adoption contract and click here to complete an adoption application or email RCR adoption coordinator Alanna at for more info.

Please note; in the event there are multiple inquiries for a cat or kitten, Regina Cat Rescue will select the best suited home in the interest of a successful adoption.

Adoption fee: $100

All adoption fees and sponsorship donations contribute towards veterinary care and other costs associated with caring for Regina Cat Rescue rescued cats and kittens
