Background

It was a hot summer day when RCR was notified about a mama cat and her kitten found in distress in a north central Regina neighbourhood. The mama cat was fine but her sole young kitten was barely clinging to life and unfortunately didn't make it. We don't know much about the circumstances that led to Misty losing her kitten on the street on a scorching hot August day, but we do know that Misty is a sweet, friendly and adaptable young cat that deserves a loving forever home.

Misty adapted very well in foster care. At first she preferred only the attention of her human foster family, but she quickly made friends with the gregarious labradoodle in the home. Gradually, with the help of her canine pal, Misty adjusted to the other dog and the three other cats as well and is now a fully integrated member of the home.

Misty is now ready for a forever home of her own. She is an easy going cat that enjoys pets and cuddles and time with people. She is cautious and takes time to explore new situations but once she is comfortable she is a very interactive family member. She will make an excellent cat companion for anyone wanting an interactive cat companion.
