Background

When Tilly was rescued she was in very rough shape.  Nearly starved to death, she had a broken jaw, was hypothermic and so anemic that she needed an emergency blood transfusion to try and save her life.  Thankfully one of RCR’s foster mom’s cat is a blood donor and the arrangements were made.  Though it has taken months of treatment for her infection, eventually involving surgery to remove the infected part of Tilly's jaw bone, she has continued to be a sweet girl and is now ready for a second chance at a forever family.

This beautiful girl is very affectionate and wants nothing more than to be curled up on her foster mom’s lap so she can get all the attention.  Tilly loves chin scratches and rubs and will rub her chin against her foster mom’s hand if she feels she’s not getting enough of them.  Though she is being fostered with both kittens and older cats, Tilly prefers the company of the older cats that are happy to just sit and watch the world go by.
