Background

This handsome fellow first landed on the RCR radar 5 years ago when he turned up at the backyard feeding station of a long time volunteer. Scruffy was picked up and neutered, then released back to the feeding station where he was in good hands with our volunteer. Recently, Scruffy suffered an injury to one of his paws that required surgery and a lengthy stay in foster care while he recovered.  It turns out that Scruffy is a very sweet guy and he definitely likes the good life as a house cat and is ready for a home of his own.

Scruffy is a friendly boy who loves attention and may protest vocally if he’s feeling lonely. He’s a mellow fellow who would love to just chill out and be a cuddle buddy with a cat loving adopter. His rough life on the streets has left him more than ready to be someone’s best feline friend forever.  Scruffy is fostered with other cats and gets along but would also be fine as an only cat.

Please note: in the event there are multiple inquiries for a cat or kitten, Regina Cat Rescue will select the best suited home in the interest of a successful adoption.
