Background

Runt and Whiskey are sisters who were rescued as kittens shortly after they were born, and have always been together. When they found themselves suddenly facing homelessness, RCR took them into foster care. The cats were vet checked and spayed, and it was then that it was discovered that Runt suffered from an enlarged heart. Luckily it was caught and treatable, and Runt has responded very well to the medication and is a healthy and active cat. She does need the medication on an ongoing basis.

Runt and Whiskey have adapted very well to life in foster care. They slowly made themselves at home and are very affectionate with lots of love to give. Both girls love to be brushed and they also like to eat! They adjusted well to the two dogs in their foster home and also get along with the resident cat although Runt does have a dominant personality. These sweet girls have been through a lot of change but have handled it well together. As a pair, the offer the best of both worlds with one very affectionate and gentle cat, and one who is more independent.
