Background

Ben’s a handsome ginger boy who’s made fantastic progress from his initial rescue as a semi-feral, injured and sick cat to the sweet boy we know today. Rescued in the dead of winter with severe illness and no fight left, Ben escaped an unthinkable fate thanks to the kind people that rescued him and contacted Regina Cat Rescue for help.

Ben’s an adorable and affectionate fellow who overcame many obstacles to land in his current situation as a beloved foster cat in a caring foster home. His rough start in life makes him somewhat cautious with strangers, but Ben’s a trooper and he now makes human friends easily and warms up quickly once he knows you. Ben does well with other cats and in particular has taken little foster kitten Ritz under his wing. It may take a leap of faith for someone to adopt a shy former tom like Ben, but he promises that the rewards will be many!

If you’re interested in Ben, click here to view our adoption contract and click here to complete an adoption application or email the RCR Adoption Coordinator at adoptions@reginacatrescue.com for more info.

Please note: in the event there are multiple inquiries for a cat or kitten, Regina Cat Rescue will select the best suited home in the interest of a successful adoption.

Adoption fee: $140

All adoption fees and sponsorship donations contribute towards veterinary care and other costs associated with caring for Regina Cat Rescue rescued cats and kittens.
