Heidi and Gatsby are a mother-son duo who came to Regina Cat Rescue (RCR) in the heart of winter after being discovered in the underground parkade of a downtown condo. Fearful for their safety, residents contacted RCR for help in getting the cats to a safe place.

Both cats were very shy in the beginning, and we weren't sure what their future held. But little by little they began to gain trust of people and were able to be placed in foster care. Gatsby is quite a friendly little fellow now, curious and playful. He enjoys pets, loves toys and is a happy-go-lucky young cat.

Heidi, the mama, is a beautiful girl with pretty amber eyes. She is more timid, but has also come to enjoy human attention and happily accepts pets.

Heidi and Gatsby will need a bit of patience while adjusting to a new home, but as long as they are together, this little family will thrive and be lovely and entertaining pets.
