Background

I’m Ashes. I was found huddled under a BBQ cover, trying to stay warm, on a farm just north of Regina on the frigid day of December 25th, 2018. RCR was contacted to help me and I was placed in a warm, safe foster home. I’m a shiny black cat with bright golden eyes. Don’t let all those silly bad stories about black cats get to you. Here are some things you might not know about cats like me. We’re often fairly easygoing, adaptable felines. Calm, cool, collected is my motto. Us black cats are also affection aficionados. We’re great at cuddles, snuggles, hugs, and lap naps.

I’m a particularly special feline because I’m not only friendly with humans, but also with other cats. I like to play, and prance, and pounce about, too. I hope I’ve convinced you that black cats are great because we really are. I had one Christmas miracle which I sure am thankful for, but I’d like the ultimate gift of a forever home where I can practice my black cat skills and achieve the ultimate cuddle quota and perfect play times. Background

Regina Cat Rescue (RCR) was contacted shortly after Christmas by a concerned person who had discovered an abandoned cat in the apartment building in which she lives. Volunteers responded and found Mase. He was suffering from a bad upper respiratory infection and a bleeding nose. He was taken into RCR care so he could get the veterinary care he needed.

Mase is a very charismatic and handsome cat who would be a great addition to any home!

Background

Janesse was rescued on a cold winter day when a volunteer crawled under a house to rescue her.

She was a bit shy at first, but she quickly adapted to life indoors and loves being safe, warm and well fed. She’s appreciative of being rescued from the streets and shows that appreciation with lots of love and affection. If you’re looking for a beautiful cat inside and out, Janesse may be the one for you!
