Polly

Adopted 7 June 2009

Meet Polly! Polly was rescued in December by PFA from a long term hoarding situation, along with 9 other cats. She had been forced to live in horrible conditions, with inconsistent food supplies, neglect and drug activity occuring all around her.

Polly was obese when she was rescued, and is still a chubby girl, but she has lost a considerable amount of weight since she has gone into foster care, simply from being in a safe space and eating good quality food.

Polly is about 4 years old, spayed, dewormed and vaccinated. She is a grey and white shorthaired cat. Polly is also a polydactyl, meaning she has an extra toe on each foot. Even without the extra weight, Polly will be a very large female cat. Polly loves to hang out with other cats, and is especially good with kittens. She is good with children, and is very cuddly once she gets to know you. Polly is still quite timid with strangers, but she is friendly given a few minutes.

Polly loves to sleep with her foster family, and follows them around in the morning "talking" to them. She is a very unique cat, not only because of her feet, but her markings and coloring. Polly deserves a loving family who will appreciate her for the special cat that she truly is.
