Howie

Adopted 19 August 2009

Howie is a black male kitten with handsome green eyes and a little bit of white on his belly. He was initially one of the shiest kittens in his litter and was very afraid of being handled, but he has rapidly come out of his shell in foster care.

He gets along well with the small dog and other cats in the foster home and has been adopted by one of the male cats, whom Howie now thinks is his mom. He loves to groom, chase, wrestle and play with his foster "mom" Levi (click here to see a video of them playing: ).

Howie also likes to keep himself occupied with toys, as well as climbing, jumping, exploring and finding new hiding places. He loves to cuddle and sleep with you and has a huge purr. He would do best in a quiet home, preferably with one other laid-back cat in the home to be his pal. He has received his first vaccination.

Adoption fee: $25

All adoption costs and donations contribute to the veterinary fees and funds required for local animal rescue through People For Animals.
