Mouse

Adopted January 9th, 2010

This cute little cat is Mouse, a shy 2 year old female found hiding in an old abandoned dog house protecting her 5 babies from the neighbourhood tomcats. She was rescued with her kittens in early June and has quietly waited her turn in foster care as all her kittens were adopted to great homes. Now it is her turn.

Mouse was very timid at first but has learned to trust her human friends over time. She is a beautiful long haired black and white cat who is shy and quiet but also very approachable and LOVES a good head rub or belly rub. Mouse has been treated for respiratory issues that have been resolved; however, she will remain a "raspy breather", particularly when she is scared. Staff at vet clinic where she was treated refer to her as a very sweet cat.

Mouse would do best in a quiet home without young children or dogs, although she would be ok with another cat - preferable male.
