Jade is a stunning black female with striking amber eyes, bold white whiskers and a beautiiful shiny coat. She is approximately one and half years old, spayed, affectionate as can be and looking for a family to join!

Jade was rescued off the streets as a semi-feral kitten with her sister Slick last year during the cold winter months. They were then placed into foster care where they participated in a pilot project to tame feral cats using clicker training -- a partnership between People for Animals and Prairie Animal Assistance. Ideally, People For Animals' would like an adopter that would be interested in continuing the clicker training so Jade can keep up the skills she has learned. (i.e waving - as pictured)

Jade thoroughly enjoys being pet and cuddled and loves to show off her clicker trained skills! She is friendly,social and affectionate and will make a great addition to a loving family! Not all formerly feral cats turn into lap cats, but Jade has blossomed after the affection and care she has been shown safe indoors.
