Soot

Adopted January 16th, 2011

This adorable little family of tabbies were born to a stray mama cat in mid-November and are now 8 weeks old.

The mama cat managed to make her way into a kind family's garage, underweight and malnourished - and also noticeably pregnant. Luckily the family decided to feed the mama cat and give her a warm place to stay and have her kittens. Soon afterward she gave birth to seven adorable kittens, all tabbies and ranging from a light peach coloured tabby to black/brown tabbies. Five are still available for adoption.

All the kittens are healthy and active and ready for adoption with their first vaccinations.

Here are descriptions of each:
Soot (M, dark tabby) - a very independent and curious kitten. Loves to play and wrestle.
They are used to lots of handling as they've had supplemental bottle feedings. Mama Casey is very tiny and couldn't handle feeding all seven kittens at once!

**Spay/neuter of kittens at the age of six months is a condition of adoption when adopting through People for Animals**
