Aphrodite and her 4 babies came to PFA when they needed a safe place for momma to take care of her babies. The babies have now all be adopted and Aphrodite is waiting for her forever home.
This beauty is named after the Greek god of love and she certainly lives up to her name. Her babies flourished under her care and Aphrodite had gotten quite skinny before arriving at her foster home. This amazing kitty also lost her long undercoat while caring for her babies but with good food and lots of love, she is putting on weight and her fur is beginning to grow back.
Aphrodite has a sweet personality and loves to be cuddled by her foster mom and enjoys having "talks" with her and the other cats in the house. This beauty lives up to her name as a "god of love" as she watches over the other cats and kittens in her foster home. When she thinks one of the kittens is being hurt in their wrestling games, Aphrodite is quick to rush in and make sure everyone is ok. Aphrodite still has a playful kitten side to her which is starting to show more and more each day. She loves playing with the stuffed mice as well as anything that has cat nip in it.
Aphrodite is being fostered in a multi-pet house hold and enjoys the company of the other cats, but is very cautious of the large dog. The two seem to have come to a truce, as long as the dog stays away from the other kittens when Aphrodite is around.
After pouring all of herself into taking care of her babies and now the other kittens in her foster home, it's Aphrodite's turn to have someone love and take care for her with the same passion.
