Background

Hope was rescued with her 4 babies early this fall when some PFA volunteers came across her and her babies at a feeding station on their route. All of Hope's babies have now been adopted and Hope is waiting for her forever home to come along and whisk her off to her happily ever after.

After all her babies were adopted, Hope was place at one of PFA's satilite adoption centres, however, being in a closed habitat left Hope very stressed and she was moved to a foster home as soon as a place became available. Hope's currently foster home has several other foster kitties and she is slowly learning to adjust. After a long time on the streets having to protect herself, Hope is learning that not every other cat is going to attach her, or someone to complete with for food. There is also a resident Lab X in Hope's foster home who is doing his best to show Hope that dogs and cats can be the best of friends.

When Hope is settled and calm, she is a sweetheart who loves to have her cheeks and chin stroked and will sit in her foster mom's lap soaking up the joys of being a cared for and loved kitty.

Because Hope is having to learn to trust other animals, she would do better in a home as an only kitty, though with the right personalities and a patient forever family, she could learn to trust and live with other cats or dogs.
