Background

Nigel is a very laid back kind of kitty, so it surprises his foster mom to find out that he orchastrated his own rescue. When a PFA volunteer decided to spend New Years out at a cabin in Katepwa, she found Nigel huddled on the steps just waiting for his rescue. It didn't take any coaxing to convince him to come inside where he was feed turkey and warmed up.

Nigel is now settling into his foster home in Regina and getting used to several other foster cats along with the resident black Lab. He's still a little unsure of the other animals in the house, but Nigel is so laid back he just lays on his chair and watches the happenings. He loves to have his belly rubs and purrs the minutes you pet him. Considering his size, he doesn't like to be picked up, but snuggling up beside his foster mom is his favorite place to be.
