Background

While out feral feeding in June, 2 of our volunteers came across a litter of newborn kittens by themselves. As any parent knows, a new mom will never leave her newborn babies by themselves. After moving on to the other stations needed to be fed and watered, the volunteers went back to check and see if mom had come back for her babies. Sadly, even after waiting and watching from their car, mom never came back. Thankfully, PFA has a few foster homes with the skills needed to take care of orphaned kittens, the litter was taken to safety.

Beebop, is one of these orphans. Beebop loves to split his time between playing with his favorite toy, a pipe cleaner, and snuggling into his foster mom’s lap while purring. He has been fostered in a home with not only other cats, but dogs and ferrets as well.
