Background

Gilbert has found himself homeless not once but twice. Originally rescued as a stray by a caring family, they were forced to surrender Gilbert when the apartment building they live in was sold and the new owners changed the pet policy. All tenants were told to get rid of the pets or be faced with evictions. The family contacted RCR for help, and Gilbert has be placed in foster care.

He is a playful guys who loves to run around his foster home playing with anything he can get his little paws on. Toys, the other cats, balls with bells, they are all fair game when Gilbert gets his paws on them. Surprisingly, Gilbert also enjoys playing with water and can be found playing in the water on the bottom of the tub!

With Gilbert's high energy level he will make a great fit for a family with children or as a companion for another kitty.
