Background

Avery and her siblings were born to a feral mother cat who gave birth under the deck of a concerned citizen who contacted Regina Cat Rescue for help. The little family had to be trapped, but once rescued and fostered the young kittens became friendly and affectionate cats.

Avery is a beautiful and quiet girl that was a very shy kitten when she was rescued, but you would never know it now. She has really come a long way in trusting humans. Like her brother Arlo,  Avery will have an instant purr and will often be found curled up sleeping and purring by herself or with another foster kitten. Avery loves to crawl into laps to snuggle and is always up for cuddles with her foster mom.  Once snuggled in on a lap, she will purr, fall asleep and flop on her back like a baby. Avery loves all toys especially the feather wand toys. She’s a social cat and gets along well with all the cats in her foster home.
