Mookie
Losing a furry family member is a heartbreaking and painful moment in life, including ones that are not yours.
On behalf of Narges, Regina Cat Rescue Board Member at Large, Regina Cat Rescue is taking a moment to honor Mookie, a cat she grew close to while cat sitting. She recently found out Mookie passed away and shared Mookie helped her through a really difficult time in her life, becoming her best friend. She shares "[Mookie], I miss your sassy attitude, the way you would suddenly hiss at me in the middle of a snuggle, and the fact you ate almost anything - even the veggie burgers and hot dogs I made. I know you are not far from your mom and dad, still peacefully sleeping in their backyard."
