♥️ Angela’s spay has been sponsored in honour of Ken Aitken, for Father’s Day ❤️

Sweet Angela has received the generous gift of having her spay sponsored in memory of Ken. His family chose her because she reminded them of his beloved childhood cat, Blackie. Like so many of the cats RCR helps, they start off a a stray and then decide to stay. Blackie moved herself in to the house one winter and was loved for the rest of her days Blackie and Angela are both lucky to have crossed paths with Ken and his family.

BACKGROUND

Sweet Angela is a lovely little lady who was living stray and relying on the kindness of strangers to get by in the cold early days of winter. After concluding she did not have a home, an RCR volunteer intervened to get her safety. Angela was spayed and microchipped, but unfortunately we were not able to reach an owner as the contact information was not valid. Thus, Angela was placed into foster care. She is a very loving cat who deserves an equally loving home.

Angela has been a volunteer favourite since coming into care with her gentle and affectionate personality. She is not an overly demanding cat and is just happy to be with people, soaking up pets and snuggles. Angela is done with the snow and cold and is content to check out the winter views form a cozy perch inside. Like many cats who spend time on the streets, she is a bit wary of other animals and will need a gradual introduction to other pets, per best practices for animal integration. Angela is a wonderful and loving cat who would make a great feline friend for a single person seeking companionship or a first time pet for a family.
