BACKGROUND

🐾 Meet Danny – The Ultimate Velcro Kitty 🐾

Danny’s life has been a bit of a roller coaster, but this big-hearted boy is ready for the happily-ever-after he deserves!

Originally trapped during a TNR project in 2023, Danny couldn’t join our adoption program at the time due to a lack of foster space. This past winter, fate stepped in when he landed at the Humane Society, and we got the call to go get him.

Once in foster care, we discovered two big things:

1️⃣ He’s FIV-positive (which doesn’t stop him from living a long, healthy life!)

2️⃣ He had severe dental disease — so he got the royal treatment with a full dental extraction and lots of TLC.

Now? Danny is thriving! 🐱✨

💙 Personality: The sweetest cuddle bug you’ll ever meet. The moment you sit down, he’s in your lap. At night, he curls up in your arms and purrs you to sleep. His foster mom affectionately calls him “Velcro Kitty” because he just can’t get enough snuggle time.

💙 Hobbies: Playing with toys, eating (even dry kibble—yep, no teeth, no problem!), and following his humans around for more love.

💙 Social Skills: He gets along well with other cats but is definitely a “people” cat. He’s still a bit cautious around strangers, but curiosity wins out and he’ll come to say hello.

Danny would do best in a quiet home, possibly with another calm adult cat, and definitely with a family who appreciates a big boy with an even bigger heart.

After everything he’s been through, Danny is healthy, happy, and ready to be someone’s shadow, snuggle buddy, and best friend for life. Could that be you?

Special Notes: FIV+ (no impact on life expectancy when kept indoors), toothless but thriving!
