BACKGROUND

Niko is a former rescue who originally came into care as a stray in the winter of 2017 and was lucky to find a home shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, his adopter recently left Niko with a family member who was not in the market for another cat, and Nico was surrendered and placed back into foster care.

Despite the upheaval, Niko is rolling with the punches and doing well. He is a calm and laid back fellow who is not demanding and is just happy to be safe, cozy and well fed! Niko is being fostered with other cats and is easily adaptable if given a gradual introduction per best practices for pet integration; he does do better with female cats but would be fine as an only pet. Niko is a very sweet and loving cat who doesn't like to be held but he sure loves his belly rubs! You will instantly fall in love with his sweet purr.
