BACKGROUND

Omar and his 5 siblings were born outdoors in a citizens backyard to a feral Momma last spring.  By the time RCR was called in to help the kittens were already 12-14 weeks old and  already on the way to being feral.  But after assessing the situation and knowing that they had been feed daily and knew some human interaction and kindness it was decided to give them an opportunity to be socialized.  After being trapped they were brought in and worked with.

A slow process to be sure, building trust and teaching touch.  Omar is a true success story!

Omar being the typical Social Tuxedo he is was the first to come around after 5 months and we slowly built on that.  Omar has now fully integrated successfully into a multicat household.  He loves love, cuddles and scratches, often jumping up to lay beside you on the couch or up on the bed at bedtime. He’s easy going, curious and full of energy and antics, he loves playing with toys and the other cats. Often giving his foster parents a giggle due to his silliness. He currently has the benefit of a catio in his foster home and likes to lay out in the afternoon sun. He happily greets strangers at the door with his silly swagger, a social butterfly to be sure.

Omar has spent the first year of his life very closely intertwined with feline friends so he must have another cat that can keep up with him in his adoptive home. If possible getting adopted with one of his siblings would be ideal. There are 5 to choose from!
