BACKGROUND

This cat is a very one-minded anomaly. After just a few days, this cat discovered his calling card: waffles. His foster has no idea what it is, but this cat absolutely adores waffles. Whenever they make waffles, he will beg for a taste. If he’s denied his waffles, he’ll cry as if the world is ending.

Waffles gets excited whenever it’s meal time, and consistently begs for a share of what anybody is eating. He will actually wait to eat his kibble, until he’s double/triple/quadruple checked that he can’t get a piece of whatever we’re eating. As with any cat, it’s recommended to keep human food to a minimum and always avoid heavily seasoned or otherwise dangerous foods, but when his fosters do occasionally give in and let Waffles have a small nibble of unseasoned animal protein (or yes a bite of waffle).

Outside of Waffles’ bizarre cravings, he’s a very cuddly and very vocal cat, who loves being given affection. He will give a soft and gentle mew when he’s either lonely or hungry, and will be happy to be picked up and cuddled at this time. His purr is incredibly loud, and he likes to spend long evenings being snuggled up on the couch. Waffles is growing up to be very affectionate, and should prove to be a lovely companion.
