BACKGROUND

Meet Big Mack! 🐾❤️

This very handsome boy has a tough past but is focusing on the bright future ahead of him!

Big Mack was rescued during the bitter February cold, right when Team Canada’s MacKinnon and McDavid were hitting the ice at the Four Nations Tournament—so of course, he got his strong name from them. Like the players, he’s gritty, tough, and a true survivor.

When he was found, he was cold, hungry, and without shelter. He lost the tips of both his ears and even needed some dental work after trying to chew something frozen solid. But don’t worry—those little scars just make him more unique and haven’t dampened his spirit one bit!

Today, Big Mack is blossoming into the sweetest companion. He’s learned to trust and loves snuggling up with his foster mom, giving gentle nose boops, and purring the day away. He enjoys toys, but if he had to pick, naps (often with his kitty besties) are his absolute favorite pastime.

Big Mack gets along well with other cats, but he’ll need a slow introduction to new furry friends and some patience with children as he continues building trust. With love, kindness, and a little time, he’ll reward his forever family with endless affection and companionship.

Could you be the one to give this brave boy the happily-ever-after he deserves? 💕
