BACKGROUND

Meet Fiona — a tiny sweetheart learning that the world is a safe place.

Fiona may be small in size, but her story is filled with quiet promise. Before she was born, her momma was rescued from life outdoors and brought inside to safely welcome her kittens. Because of that, Fiona has known nothing but warmth, full bellies, and gentle care from the very beginning.

Despite her loving start, Fiona is naturally a shy and timid little girl. As the runt of her litter — and the tiniest of the bunch — she tends to take in the world from a safe distance before deciding it’s okay to step forward. But behind those cautious eyes is a tender kitten who is slowly learning to trust.

Fiona does wonderfully with other cats and finds great comfort in their presence. She would truly flourish in a home with a confident feline friend who can show her the ropes and help her feel secure. While she may need a little extra time and patience from her humans, the progress she’s already making is beautiful to see. In fact, this brave little girl sometimes curls up at her foster’s feet at night — her quiet way of saying, “I want to be close.” Moments like that remind us just how much love Fiona has waiting to be shared.

Fiona would do best in a calm, quieter home with someone who understands that the most meaningful bonds are often built slowly. With gentle encouragement, one-on-one attention, and a patient heart, Fiona has all the potential to blossom into an incredibly devoted companion.

If you believe that the shy ones deserve just as much love — and that earning a kitten’s trust is one of life’s greatest rewards — Fiona may be the perfect little soul for you 💕
