BACKGROUND

In 2017, during a surge of kittens from RCR rescues, Fran, a long-time RCR supporter, agreed to temporarily foster three very shy littermates who were about five months old and had little human contact.. Over time, with patience and gentle socialization, they grew into loving, affectionate cats with distinct and endearing personalities.

Lincoln is the handsome tabby brother, with swirl markings and green-tinted eyes. He is very affectionate with people he trusts, enjoys playing with wand toys, and will even leap high in the air for a good game. At the same time, he is cautious and shy, always approaching on his own terms. Lincoln is deeply bonded to other cats and needs a feline companion nearby to feel secure, making him a true “Velcro cat.” He thrives in a calm, loving environment where he can feel safe while sharing affection.

Although the foster arrangement was originally meant to last only a couple of months, Lincoln, Quiver, and Splash have thrived together for nearly nine years. They form a close family unit, each with their own charm—Lincoln the affectionate but cautious companion, Quiver the confident and sweet “tail-talker,” and Splash the gentle, loving sweetheart.

Lincoln could be your next best friend!
