BACKGROUND

This pretty young girl was found with her mom and two siblings living at an RCR colony and sheltering under the crawl space of the home. Mom was tame so likely left behind when someone moved and no one claimed her when she was posted as found. With no available space in a foster home the plan was to trap, fix and return (TNR) mom and her kittens when they were of age. The kittens were getting older and then it was found out that they were not welcome to stay as the homeowners did not want any more cats around. RCR had no choice but to trap the kittens and place them into a foster home in hopes of them being socialized.

Maggie was a bit older when rescued which ends up being more of a challenge when socializing feral kittens. It has taken some time as she was not as brave as her sister Fergie but she has come a long way. Maggie is no longer hiding and she is getting a lot braver around people. She allows pets and scratches when she is relaxing. She comes to you when you are sitting on the couch when you have her favorite treats around.

She loves to be around all the cats in her foster home and can usually be found snuggled up on a pet bed with another cat or two or her brother Kirby. Maggie loves to play with the cat toys, loves all food and treats and will hold her own when being chased by the boys or involved in one of their wrestling matches.

Maggie has lots of cat friends so she doesn't rely on humans for too much interaction. If she had less cat friends in a home, she will likely bond with humans a lot more. She would love to have a home with someone who will give her that extra time to blossom into a brave, comfortable girl and have another feline friend to share her life and snuggles with.
