BACKGROUND

Theodore, affectionately known as Theo, was discovered with his two brothers, Simon and Alvin, living in a garage alongside their mother. This neighbourhood was known for its significant population of stray cats. Theo's young mother was likely abandoned when her previous owners moved away, as no one came forward to claim her. Thankfully, she found a safe place to give birth to her kittens within the shelter of a garage. Concerned residents contacted RCR about the feline family, which led volunteers to safely trap the kittens and their mother, bringing them into foster care. While the mother was friendly and tame, her kittens needed additional socialization and care.

Theo was initially the most hesitant to accept human touch. However, with patience and time, Theo is slowly making progress. He is always present and accepts pets on his terms. He needs someone with a gentle approach and plenty of time and patience to help him fully come out of his shell and feel comfortable.

Theo has developed a love for food, treats, and playing with cat toys. He enjoys napping in multiple cat beds, climbing cat trees, using the cat scratcher, and watching the world from indoors. Theo is energetic, often running, playing, and wrestling with his brother Simon. He has adjusted well to the household routine, recognizing when it's bedtime and curling up at the foot of the bed to sleep through the night.

In his foster home, Theo gets along well with all the resident and foster cats, although he has not yet met any dogs or children. His shiny, soft fur, fluffy tail, and small ear tufts make him an exceptionally handsome cat.

Theo will need a quiet home with a patient and understanding family to help him become the brave cat he can become.
