Background

Jolly and his siblings were born to a feral mother cat in a busy central neighbourhood known for a high volume of stray and abandoned cats. The kittens were being fed by a kind soul who reached out for help to get them off the street before severe winter cold set in. The kittens were residing under the deck of the home for warmth most of the time, and were not used to people. All 4 litter mates needed to be trapped and one by one they came into RCR care where they were lucky to all stay together as a very kind foster agreed to take the little family. She has worked hard to gain their trust. Jolly was the last of the litter to be trapped (nearly 3 weeks later) and has quickly flourished with the help of the diligent foster mom!

Jolly is absolutely the cutest little man. He was the last to be trapped amongst his littermates, but is slowly warming up to family life.  Jolly loves to run and play with his siblings and would benefit from the presence of other cats.  His instinct to run and hide is still very strong, but he purrs when his foster family picks him up.  Jolly LOVES food and treats, and that is the quickest way to win his heart.  He will need time to learn to trust his new family and adjust to his new environment, but once he does he will really blossom into the indoor family cat he was meant to be.  He is comfortable with the adult cats and dogs in his foster home.
