Background

RCR Community Cat team volunteers are used to rescuing cats off the street when tending to our managed Community Cat colonies, but it was a surprise to one of our volunteers to discover a little cat family in her own backyard. Luckily, she was able to quickly scoop the little family and get them socialized and ready for adoption.

Zoey is a pretty and playful kitten who adapted well to her busy multi-pet foster home. She loves playing with her siblings and happily accepts pets and cuddles once she’s worn out from play. She would do well in a home with another cat or kitten to play with. If Zoey’s pretty face and beautiful tabby markings don’t win you over, her sweet personality will!

Please note: in the event there are multiple inquiries for a cat or kitten, Regina Cat Rescue will select the best suited home in the interest of a successful adoption.

Adoption fee: $140

Picture this. The dead of a Saskatchewan winter. A tiny kitten struggles to survive with an infected bite on his leg from another animal. That was me, Max. Don’t worry, a kind lady who kept food out for me saw the condition I was in that day and rushed me to the vet. The vet called RCR for help. Thanks to RCR, my injury was treated, and I healed up. I was a bit shy with people at first and needed some time to adjust. I was placed in foster care and adjusted well. There are so many things to play with in a people home! Most importantly, there are no strange animals with teeth.

I am a sweet and affectionate boy. I love chin rubs. I like to turn anything I can find into a toy. I will do well in a home that has a bit of patience for me in the beginning. You know, I just need a bit of time to come out of my shell. After I do, this handsome and gentle boy here will be your perfect forever cat. So, what do you say? Is your finger ready to give me some awesome chin rubs for life?
