Background

Kylo wandered the frigid streets during winter. Ears frostbitten, he hoped for comfort. He was out of his element in the barren, biting chill. Still, in the face of his trials, Kylo’s good-natured spirit showed through. Community cat team volunteers at RCR rescued the sweet fellow. In care, his ears healed and his paws warmed.

He is an amazingly gentle and loving cat, with a big heart full of love. Kylo adores attention and is a social cat. He’d do well as a first pet or a family pet.

Gender: Male
Age: 1 year
Breed: Domestic Medium Hair; Brown/black tabby with white
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Vaccinations: FRPP
Other vet care: Anti-parasitic medicine
Temperament: A bit shy but sweet.
Other information: Gets along with other cat(s) once he knows them.
You can meet Jenga at Excalipurr Cat Café (2156 Albert Street, Regina).

Please include either the cat's name or the url for this page so that we appropriately direct your kind donation.

Background

Jenga was found with his mum and siblings during a late winter storm, and he has since been boarding at the Excalipurr Cat Cafe. He is social but shy, preferring fewer companions than would a gregarious cat; however, he is very sweet once he gets to know you! If you’re lookin’ for a way into his heart, try a few treats and a scruff behind the ears, and he’ll be putty in your hands.

Sweet as honey is how Jenga can be described. He’s a sharp lookin’ brown and black tabby with handsome white markings. While he’s not afraid of other kitties, he is a tad timid. Once taken the time to get to know him, Jenga’s affectionate and friendly nature will show itself. While he has much to offer in a family, his reserved nature is ideal in a single-cat household, where he doesn’t have to share the love. Although if there are other cats, Jenga’s laid-back temper means he’ll get along with them equally well. In any case, Jenga’s a cat who likes to have his one-on-one time with you, and nobody is stepping in his way of getting it!

If Jenga is the kind of cat you’d like to meet, step on down to Excalipurr Cat Cafe, where he’ll be eager to meet you!

Background

It was a cold day near the end of March when a Regina Cat Rescue volunteer picked up a heavily pregnant cat and got her to safety just before a late season snowstorm hit. Less than 24 hours later, she gave birth to four kittens. Thanks to her diligent mama and a kind RCR foster family, Wuta is a happy, healthy and well socialized kitten who is ready for a home of her own.

Wuta is a social and playful kitten with just a touch of sass, which is to be expected from a tortie!  She likes to let her people know when she wants something, including when she is ready to be held in your arms like a baby. She gets along well with the other pets in her foster home and is good with children as well, making her an ideal family pet.
