Background

Ernie is handsome fellow who came to the attention of Regina Cat Rescue when a kind older couple discovered Ernie, and his sibling Bert, had been abandoned when their owners moved away! The two were suddenly homeless, on the street as winter was setting in. They began caring for the cats and reached out to Regina Cat Rescue for help.

Ernie is a sweet, playful and easy-go-lucky guy much like his namesake from Sesame Street! He is friendly, adaptable and gets along well with people and other cats alike. He would make a great pet for a first time pet owner or a young family looking for a laid back and affectionate pet.

Ernie would love to be adopted with his brother, Bert, but would also be fine on his own.

Background

I’m Que. I could have been born on the street, but my mama cat was rescued just a few short days before giving birth to me. Good thing too, I’m too friendly and affectionate to be a street cat. I love my brother Atlas so much. We play together, and cuddle, and sleep side by side. I also like little humans—children, I think that’s what they’re called?

I’m pretty fluffy so lots of attention suits me and my coat. I’m hoping for a forever home with other cats, maybe even with Atlas, and I’d be happy in a busy family home. By my stripes, I can’t wait for my forever home! Perhaps that’s why they named me Que because I’m so eagerly waiting? Or maybe it’s French or Spanish for my curiosity… I’m not sure, but I just can’t wait to settle in!

Background

Tess is one of many cats abandoned and left to fend for themselves at a property in a Regina bedroom community, and was the mama to at least 6 kittens! The new property owner found them starving and scared in a shed when they moved in, and quickly reached out to RCR for help. Thanks to their kindness, Tess is now a happy and healthy cat ready for a home of her own.

Tess is a pretty girl with beautiful tabby markings. She is social and loves to play. While in foster care, Tess enjoyed sleeping with members of her human family and was sure to give equal snuggle time to them all. This lovely cat will make an ideal family pet, either as an only cat or with others, and will reward her lucky family with a lifetime of love.
