Background

Garner is a Regina Cat Recue (RCR) favourite due to his bumpy road to rescue! This handsome boy was a tame cat who was trapped and neutered then reluctantly returned to a community cat colony due to lack of foster space. Since then, poor Garner has had some close calls including being found cold and scared at the scene of a fire near his colony one year ago. Recently, a kind citizen took in a cold and hungry cat, and contacted us for help. When it turned out to be Garner, we knew we had to get him off the street once and for all.

Garner is a big gentle fellow who is grateful to be safe, warm and loved. He adapted very well to his foster home and was a perfect gentleman to his foster sister. Garner has weathered the streets and has now proven that he is worthy of a loving home that will take care of him for the rest of his days. He would be fine as an only cat but can also get along with others.

Background

Louie’s a handsome, friendly and tame fellow who was originally trapped, neutered and returned (TNR) through our TNR program. While he was tame he was released back to his colony due to a lack of foster homes. Our Community Cat team kept a watchful eye but when Louie recently went missing and turned up at the Regina Humane Society, we knew we could not put him back on the streets again.

Louie’s an outgoing and affectionate cat who has spent far too long on the streets waiting for his chance to shine! Once in foster care, Louie quickly demonstrated his friendly and loving nature, happily accepting pets and cuddles. He can be a chatty fellow when he wants attention or food, but he's a man of simple tastes and is easy to satisfy. Louie loves soft food and head scratches and is happy for all the love and attention that comes his way.
