Our First Little Feline Family of 2022

Once upon a time in rescue, there used to be a peak period known as kitten season, a busy period when typically many kittens are born and and flood rescues. Thanks to warmer winters and an ever growing stray population, every season is kitten season now!

The kittens are now approximately 10 weeks old

The beautiful Deanna was rescued and gave birth to her litter on January 18th, which is definitely out of season. Thankfully, she was rescued in time and didn’t have to deliver on the streets.

Deanna is a wonderful mama and she and her kittens are thriving in a loving foster home. They will be available for adoption towards the end of March.

RCR is grateful for supporters and donors that help us rescue little families like Deanna’s.

A very attentive mama!
