Motley was a community cat at a busy feeding station that was impacted by the fire of a nearby home that added multiple cats to an already bad situation. Regina Cat Rescue did what we could to rescue as many as possible, but we knew there were cats left behind. One of them was Motley, and we grew increasingly concerned as his condition deteriorated.

Motley frequented the feeding station and we had a feeling he was tame, but he was skittish and evaded capture. Thankfully, we were finally able to nab him thanks to a dedicated volunteer who dedicated her time to get him to safety.

As expected, Motley turned out to be a very sweet and loving boy who can’t get enough attention and love. He craves attention! And he’s so sweet we just have to give it to him.

Poor Motley needed a full body shave to deal with severe matting but he’s taking it in stride. He’s just so happy to be safe and loved he can rock whatever comes his way.
