Background

Zitana is a sweet and petite young mama who was discovered stray on the street caring for eight baby kittens! That is a big litter for a tiny young mama, but Zitana prevailed and her rescuers were happy to take her in and work with Regina Cat Rescue to get them all good homes.

Zitana may be shy at first, but this charming young cat quickly wins hearts. She was an attentive mom to eight demanding wee ones so she knows how to give love! She adapted very easily to her new foster home when it came time to spay her and separate her from her kittens. She is a quietly affectionate cat, not demanding but appreciative of attention and affection.  She would do well as an only cat but could also adapt to others if introduced slowly.

Now that her kittens are up for adoption and finding homes of their own, it’s Zitana's time to shine!

Background

It was a cold day near the end of March when a Regina Cat Rescue volunteer picked up a heavily pregnant cat and got her safety just before a late season snowstorm hit. Less than 24 hours later, she gave birth to four kittens. Thanks to his diligent mama and a kind RCR foster family, Wampa is a happy, healthy and well socialized kitten who is ready to take on the world - at least the world of a loving forever family.

Wampa is an adorable young kitten with soft shiny fur and a sweet and loving nature. He is a favourite with his foster family due to his touch of attitude and playful ways. This affectionate and playful kitten is very well rounded and would fit in well with a young family with or without other pets. Plus, he's a super cute little black fluffball - what's not to love?

Background

Sophie is a pretty tabby kitty with a soul that is affectionate and loving.  As a kitten, she was born to a feral cat; however, her being so small and sweet made her a target for the tomcats, who tormented her. After her rescue at the hands of an RCR Community Cat Team member who witnessed the abuse, she was brought in. Malnourished, tiny, and sickly, Sophie experienced setbacks, but has since recovered and is now happy and healthy!

Sophie would make a great family cat, as either an only pet or in a multi-cat household. She is loving, friendly, and easygoing. This sweet and petite kitty has a lot to offer, and wasn’t meant for the mean street. Her sweet and snuggly nature is perfectly suited to domestic bliss, and all that is required is a family and home for her to share it with!
