Background

Davis’s rescue is not typical for RCR.  With the flash flooding throughout Saskatchewan and Manitoba at the end of June, RCR was contacted by “Strays That Can’t Pay” based out of Virden Manitoba.  With the severe flooding in the area came almost 60 cats and kittens that had been displaced from their homes as strays.  As a very small rescue group they simply didn’t have the foster spaces to help all the cats that needed it, and RCR was contacted and asked to help.  RCR was very happy to be able to offer a few foster spots, and Davis was one of the ones chosen to come to Regina.

Davis is quickly settling into her foster home and  showing what an absolute sweetie she is.  Though she’s a little unsure of the dog, she is beginning to make friends with the other cats. She loves to be petted and talked to and will roll over and give her belly to her foster mom for some rubs too.

Though she’s travelled a long way, Davis is willing to make one more move to a forever home that will love her and keep her indoors for the rest of her life.

Please note; in the event there are multiple inquiries for a cat or kitten, Regina Cat Rescue will select the best suited home in the interest of a successful adoption.
