Background

Rosie was rescued along with her siblings when a man noticed that a feral mom had given birth in the rafters of his garage.  Once he spotted the family he contacted RCR for help.  Mom was fixed and released to a maintained feral feeding station, while the kittens were placed in foster care to be tamed.

Rosie was the shyest of all her siblings, but watching them get lavished with affection has helped her realize that she wants to be around her foster family too.  She now will come looking for her foster family when she wants to be snuggled and petted and she relaxes in the arms of her foster family and purrs the moment that she is picked up.

She still has a kitten side though, and playing chase and wrestling games with her siblings as well as the other cats in her foster home is high on Rosie’s list of fun things to do.  Rosie would do well with a family that will help her settle into a new home and she would love to have a feline friend to play with as well.
