Background

Meet our handsome boy Shamus, who rescued from a hoarding situation where over 50 cats were living in a small home. He came to Regina Cat Rescue with his siblings very scared, but brave.

Shamus can be shy with strangers at first because he was not exposed to many people prior to rescue, but he made amazing progress in his foster home and he loves belly rubs pets.

Shamus is good with other cats and would do best in a home with a cat companion to help him feel comfortable. He will require an adopter with the patience to let her adjust to a new home, but once she is comfortable she is a very sweet cat to have around.

If you are interested in Shamus, click here to view our adoption contract and click here to complete an adoption application or email RCR adoption coordinator Christine at chrissrausch@gmail.com  for more info.

Please note; in the event there are multiple inquiries for a cat or kitten, Regina Cat Rescue will select the best suited home in the interest of a successful adoption.

Adoption fee: $100

All adoption fees and sponsorship donations contribute towards veterinary care and other costs associated with caring for Regina Cat Rescue rescued cats and kittens.
