Background

Wendell was rescued with his mom when he was just two weeks old. He had a precarious start to life, but thankfully Wendell survived and has thrived! You can read their rescue story here.

Wendell is an energetic, fun and playful kitten. He goes a mile a minute and loves to wrestle and play with the other kittens in his foster home. Nothing scares Wendell - he even chases the broom and attacks the vacuum. If it moves, Wendell is going to investigate it.

Being the independent kitten that he is, Wendell isn't big on snuggles but he does like to be where the action is, so he often follows his foster mom from room to room checking things out. He enjoys being held so he can check out his territory from a new perspective. Occasionally, when he's feeling tuckered out, Wendell will come looking for love and share his sweet purrs. But soon he'll be re-energized and ready for more adventuring and exploring. When night time comes, Wendell sticks close to the warmth and comfort of his foster mom curled up on the bed.
