Background

When she was no longer wanted, Elana was dumped on the doorstep of a cat loving woman. Unable to keep Elana, the woman contacted RCR for helping getting her a home that would never dump her again.

It took a few days for Elana to get used to the other cats as well as the dog in her foster home, but now that she's settled in she loves to race around the house playing with everyone.  A feather toy is always an adventure and will get Elana's attention no matter what she is doing.

Though she enjoys playing, Elana is happiest when she is snuggled up with her foster mom.  Sitting on her foster mom's shoulder will work if her lap is full, but Elana prefers to be held when she's snuggled.  Elana can also be quite "chatty" when she doesn't get what she wants and she has no problem telling her foster mom when she isn't happy with what is happening.

Elana will do well in  a home that will appreciate her "talking" as well as her need to be snuggled.
