Background

Lucy and her siblings were rescued from the wood pile they called home with their feral mother. Their mom did a great job keeping them happy and healthy, but without human intervention they would become feral like their mom, so RCR set to work. The siblings were scooped up and placed into foster homes where they were socialized to people.

Lucy can be a little shy with new people, but she is a real snuggle monster once she knows you. Each night she falls asleep beside her foster mom and purrs up a storm. She also loves to curl up with her sister, Susan, and her foster siblings for her daily naps.

Like most kittens, Lucy also loves to play. She will race, wrestle and chase with other cats and kittens. She loves toy mice, toys with bells and feather toys. She also has the special knack of turning almost any household object into her plaything.

Lucy would do great in a home with a feline friend to play with, and with a loving human to shower her with affection.
